To Do....

I've been feeling weird the past couple days. I can't explain everything, but what I can tell you is things are happening. I had contractions last night that sent me to the shower. While it did make them go away, it also opened my eyes to the fact that this baby is coming. It's now coming sooner than later. I'm fine with that, I feel ready but I also feel like there is a ton I want to do right now. Maybe this is what nesting is, I'm not really sure.

1. Get a mani/pedi. I have an appointment on Saturday morning!
2. Move my office home and get it organized, some of this is happening today.
3. Wash the bedding in our bedroom and move the bassinet in.
4. Put batteries in all the kiddo goodies that need batteries.
5. Get a hair trim, it's in serious need.
6. Find some comfortable shoes that are not flip flops. Seriously considering some cute Crocs.
7. Buy the tubing for my breast pump.
8. Figure out how to use said breast pump.
9. See as many friends as I can.
10. Spend some quality time with the hubs.
11. Install car seats...yes that has not happened yet. We'll be walking the baby home if it comes soon.
12. Get the other car smogged.
13. Pay both of the vehicle registrations. Why did we buy the cars the same month?

Man, that is too much to do. Why does it feel like it's going to end up looking more like this?

39 Weeks!

And just like that, we've hit the mother of all melons....the watermelon! At 39 weeks the baby is estimated a bit over 7lbs and the size of a watermelon. Let's talk about that though. I got my ultrasound results from over a week ago and the baby is measuring roughly 8.5lbs. This can be off by up a pound or down a pound. Add that to the fact that the baby puts on about a half a pound a week and if I hit 40 weeks I could end up with a baby that is almost 11 pounds. Where did my watermelon baby go??? What this all means is that they don't want me to go far beyond my due not past 41 weeks. Let us all pray for a lonnnnng baby that comes in the next 7 days.

How far along: 39 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Up two pounds in one week! This has been my biggest weight gain. I don't even feel like I'm eating any different, but maybe the almost full can of Pringles that I had yesterday is the true sign. So, I'm up to 16lbs....still not bothered by that at all.

Stretch marks: Nope, but man is my belly itchy!!!!!! There are places that the skin feels numb too, it's just so weird.

Sleep: It sucks. I don't think it's going to get any better at this point. It's really just a series of naps and it would be great if I could get a couple of those during the day as well.

Movement: The baby moved a TON yesterday. I had one area of my stomach that was literally bruised on the inside and it hurt to cough or laugh at times. I tried lying down when I got home and couldn't because apparently tumbling class had just started.

Food cravings: It's hard to eat too much at one time right now, well aside from an almost can of Pringles I guess. If I eat too much it becomes very difficult to breath.

Frustrations: I really want the baby to just come on its own. I hope that it doesn't keep baking and getting bigger in there leading an induction. I'll roll with the punches though! My goal is to end up with a baby so whatever we need to do to get there I'm fine with...within reason of course.

What I miss: My brain. I feel like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz last night. For example. I had the oven preheating for a good 15 minutes. When it was time to put the food in...I turned off the heat on the oven instead of setting the timer. So, the food sat in the oven for 20 minutes and it wasn't even on.

Weekly Wisdom: Get thee to a pool.

Milestones: Right now I really feel like my biggest milestone is that I am still coming into work. Tomorrow I will move my office home and I can't tell you how wonderful that sounds right now.

I met Bossy!

Last night was the Bossy (no book) Tour here in Sacramento and I got my chance to say hello! This was actually my first time meeting a blogger that I have followed for some time face to face and I have to say I was not disappointed. The worst part of the night was that I never took out my camera, so in Bossy style I have learned that the next best thing to do is draw a picture. Our meeting went something like this.
Notice how I wasn't kind and tried to show you my feet right now in actual proportion!

I figure at this point I have "known" Bossy for over 2 years. This is what I learned last night after truly meeting her.

1. She is gorgeous and all the talk she gives of her crazy frizzy hair is's beautiful.

2. She makes you feel comfortable. I never felt awkward once about being there with a bunch of strangers. Especially being with a stranger that I feel like I actually know!

3. She cares about her blog readers. I have to say one of the things that has always impressed me about Bossy is she writes back. I know that it has to be hard with the amount of comment and emails that come through. She was the first big name blogger to ever write a comment on my blog and she still comments periodically today. I've emailed her painting advice and she's emailed right away. Now, even though she's on a HUGE road trip...she wants me to send her an email to let her know when I have my baby. I can't tell you how touching that is.

All in all what I ended up leaving with is the wonderful feeling of knowing that what she portrays she is online is exactly what you get in person. Thanks Bossy for taking the time to visit with all of us. It was an honor getting to know you in person!

Maternity Clothes

I have to say that through this pregnancy I have had pretty good luck in the maternity clothes department. Part of this being that there are a TON of non-maternity clothes that are flowy and work as maternity clothes. I would say at this point half of the clothing that I wear is actually non-maternity. The only place you can't get away with non-maternity is pants. Take my new favorite outfit for example.Shirt is from Target and is not maternity, just a couple size up from what I would normally wear. The beauty in this is that I can wear it later and it will be a decent easy access breast feeding top. I have to worry about boob access now, I'm definitely entering a whole new world here. The pants are maternity and based on comfort I plan on wearing them as long as I need. I'm seriously when I say that maternity pants are the most comfortable pants. I also think that for those that are pregnant...Old Navy is the way to go. The stuff is cheap, cute and will last you for the time you need it. While they don't have a great in store selection, the online selection is great. For the most part I found that you have to buy down a size though cause their maternity clothing runs large.

Now, if only someone could come up with a line of Maternity shoes I'd be set. I think my feet have put on as much weight as my body at this point. I can't get into anything other than a flip flop.

Pool Time!

This weekend the entire Ball family was in town for my father in law Bob's 80th birthday! It was such a fun gathering and has been years since every single family member was together in one place. Of course, I had to get some kid time in so I took my niece and nephew to the pool with me so they could swim. Living in Washington they don't get alot of pool time and thankfully the weather was in the 80's. The kids started just paddling around and then decided it was time for diving boards. The started on the small one and after a while Andrea got brave enough to go off the high dive. Of course, this meant Hayden had to do it too. While I find the high dive scary, I have to say it was fun watching them go off.

Another score!

This weekend I went with my friend Amy to a baby rummage sale at her church. There were two things on my wish list: a vibrating chair and a high chair. They weren't anything I was in dire need of. I will obviously need a high chair, but not right away....the vibrating chair was just more of a nice to have item. Oh man I am sooo glad I went to the sale. Everything was soooo super cheap. Not only did I get this great Fisher Price vibrating seat for $5!!! I also got the most adorable rocking horse...only it's a rocking caterpillar...for $6!! Add to that a great little two drawer dresser for $10, a Le Creuset teapot for $2, four books for $1.75, a great Cat in the Hat wooden puzzle for $1 and a brand new with tags fleece jumper (price tag of $61) for a small $2 and I'd say the sale was an all around success!

Does this belly make me look fat?

I knew right away when I got pregnant that I wanted to make sure it was documented in photos. In fact, I shared most of those photos with you. Taking pictures of myself, especially with alot of skin exposed is not something high on my priority list but to be honest...through the pregnancy I just figured fuck it. This is what I am and I'm going to celebrate it as much as the skinny bitches. Wow, two cuss words in one paragraph...I'm on fire here!

I also thought it would be fun to have some more professional shots later in the game. The self portrait in the mirror only does so much for you! So I was put in contact with Rosie and we arranged a photo shoot at my house. I'll be the first to admit that it was early, I was tired and for some reason I got super camera shy. Even still, Rosie did an excellent job and captured some wonderful photos that I will cherish for a lifetime. I'm giving you a few favorites, but you can see the rest on my Flickr page.

Thanks again Rosie, you did a fantastic job!!

38 Weeks

It is definitely entering the stage where it is seeming like a long space from week to week. It does go fast in whole, but I seriously have to take it day by day at this point. The baby is roughly the length of a leek. We'll know more next Monday how big they think the baby actually is.

How far along: 38 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: I went up three pounds since the last weigh in. So a total of 14 I think? I'm not really too concerned by the weight at this point...unless I suddenly shoot up another 10 in the next two weeks!

Stretch marks: No more, but my belly button is verrrry shallow and you can see alot of veins through my skin.

Sleep: Not so fun. Stuff hurts again and can't stay in one position too long. Toss and turn, get up to pee, snore like a bear.

Movement: Still alot of it. That's definitely a good thing, but can definitely be an uncomfortable thing.

Food cravings: Nothing in particular. I'm really disappointed that I didn't want to plunge a pickle into some ice fact I didn't like pickles much at all.

Frustrations: Oh gosh there are too many to list really and since I'm trying to be positive we'll just say that this late in the game...things can be a bit frustrating.

What I miss: Being self sufficient. It's hard to have to ask people for help all the time to carry things, lift things, move things, etc. etc.

Weekly Wisdom: Water is both a blessing and a curse.

Milestones: Teaching a water aerobics class and feeling like a million bucks!

The Good Stuff

I know that for the most part I've been all waaah, this sucks, waaah my feet are swollen, waaah I don't feel well. Sometimes in life it's hard to focus on what is good in a situation and instead to bitch and moan about what sucks. So, I figured I'd take some time to focus on the good. It only took me almost 38 weeks to do so, but you should know there are great things about being pregnant.

1. People/strangers are nicer to you. We live in a world of electronics and for the most part people are so focused on their phone they forget to notice each other. I see this all the time in the elevator at work and have talked about it. When you are pregnant, people notice. People smile at you more, talk to you more. People aren't afraid to say hello. It's really a nice thing.

2. Nails! I have the WORST nails in the world. I keep them trimmed very short because they are so thin and they peel so it's never worth trying to have them long. Now, I have nails. They are all even and they are gorgeous. I actually had my first manicure in probably 5 years and now I'm just in awe at how good they look.

3. Hair. It's long, it's luxurious, it doesn't fall out and it's growing like a weed!

4. Back rubs. I read so much about how people are constantly touching your stomach when you are pregnant. For the most part people complained about this. I on the other hand looked forward to it. Only, it didn't happen. Instead what I get are back rubs. Not from strangers, that might be creepy. In most social settings though someone will come up and start rubbing my back. On another note, whenever I need a back rub the hubby is happy to oblige!

5. No one thinks you are weird when you want to stop for a Slurpee on the way home from work.

6. My body. OK, so it's a bit uncomfortable now and things are looking puffier, but I really think that through most of the pregnancy I have felt great in my body and not a big self conscious. As a bigger girl it's a time when I didn't have to worry if my stomach was sticking out. If the shirt is tight, it's just more belly to see! I walk around the house in non pregnancy shirts and sweats with the hint of belly sticking out the bottom all the time. The hubby calls it my "Homer Simpson" look and you know what...I love it!

Finally, I really just cannot say how much I look forward to being a mom. The hubby and I met almost 12 years ago. While it took us 9 years of dating and co-habitating to get married...I knew right away that this was who I wanted by babies daddy to be. I mean, I knew I wanted to marry him too, but that just wasn't as important to me which is probably why I was fine with the 9 year lapse. All I really cared about was that I wanted a child with this man. I wanted a child that was a part of his family (yes I'm talking about you Ball clan.) It is the most spell bounding and wonderful thing to know that inside of me right now is the product of us. No matter what has happened during this pregnancy, that is what makes it all perfect.

The head.

Yesterday I had an ultrasound done to try to determine the babies size. Now I know that these are all just estimates and it could go up or down. Since I see a primary care resident instead of an OB I have to go to an imaging center to have my ultrasounds done. The nice part is they have great equipment. The bad part is that I'm not given the results right there so I'm left to my own brain trying to figure it out.

I asked the tech what they do to try to determine size and apparently they measure parts of the head and then the length of the femur and create an average from there. Once she told me that I was glued to the screen to see what things were measuring. While I don't know how the average is calculated I do know that when they plug a measurement in it tells roughly how far along you are in the pregnancy. For example, they measured the length of the spine and it put me at 37 weeks and 5 days...just a couple days past what I am. Then they measured the femur and that put me at 36 weeks and 2 days...just a little bit behind. Then came the head.

They took three measurements of the head and while you don't want to find out that your baby is going to come out looking like the shrunken head guy in Beetlejuice, you also don't want Brendan Fraser. Come on people, that guy has a HUGE cro magnon head! He didn't get picked to play a neanderthal frozen in ice for nothing! All three head measurements said 40 weeks and 3 days. Now is when I'm hoping that these "birthing hips" I have are going to really come in handy. The shot above is the profile...if you can figure that out, more power to you.

Life's little secrets.

As a woman going through her first pregnancy there are things that I have learned that happen during pregnancy that no one ever talks or tells you about. I'm not sure if it's so you don't freak out and decide that you never want to bear children or if after having them you kind of forget all the stuff that came before. All along this journey I have had little surprises and I'm sure there are a ton more to come even with just a couple weeks left. I had no idea that morning sickness could translate into 24 hour-16 week sickness. I figured you woke up, puked and got about your day. I had no idea how stupid being pregnant can make you at times. Did I ever tell you about the time I couldn't figure out how to divide a number in half? In half?! Sheepishly finding myself asking the hubby if I wanted to know what half of this number I divide it by .5? Yes, that really happened my friends and there are more of those stories. Developing pregnancy carpal tunnel and having the feeling that my wrists are broken most days. Only to find out that it affects 1 in 4 women! That's a ton of women out there not talking about how badly their wrists hurt. Maybe that just means I'm the big complainer! Now I have the ultimate I going to know when labor begins? I mean, if I believe everything I've ever seen on tv then it should just happen when my water breaks. Only the water rarely breaks and most of the time gets broken for you.

As the pregnancy has progressed there is one other side effect that has developed...the snoring. The snoring that apparently sounds like a freight train. The snoring coupled with the getting up every two hours to pee that makes your hubby find safe sleeping in another part of the house. The snoring that I can't hear and have no idea that I'm doing except for the fact that I wake up feeling as if my tonsils are stuck somewhere in my nasal passage. I'm starting to realize that I can't wait to be snore, swollen and pain free for a while.

Water Aerobics Time!

Seriously, how could I post about water aerobics and not use my favorite picture of all time! I decided to teach again this summer as crazy as that sounds! After getting the OK from the doctor I started my first class today and will teach on Sundays until the baby comes, then will go back to the pool two days a week when it opens full time in June. I figure it's my "me" time and a chance to get the body back in gear. I knew that teaching at 37+ weeks pregnant was a bit crazy, but what was driving me to do it the most was the thought of being in water. To me it just seemed like it would make everything better. I was not wrong! Every ache, pain and discomfort that I feel on dry land completely evaporated the minute my body was submerged. I didn't feel heavy, puffy, my wrists and hips didn't hurt...I felt normal. While I couldn't do all the moves for the class, I could move around quite well in there. There is one drawback. I forgot what it was like to feel that good and now that I've had a taste of it....I feel worse! With each step I took getting out of the pool the realization hit me just how uncomfortable I am right now. If there was an option to just sit in that pool and come out when it's time for labor I would do it in a heartbeat. I think I might get a little pruney though!

I recently signed up to participate in a swap online. These are always so much fun! Basically you get assigned a partner and you tell each other a little about yourselves then send that person a little gift pack. I was partnered up with The Fancy Lady Gourmet and received my package in the mail today. There was so much cute stuff inside, but I was mostly blown away by the cookies! She makes the cookies and sells them here! Seriously adorable! I might have to order some more to use as little birth announcements. Thank you so much, your gifts were fantastic!!

We have a garden!

We decided this year to still put a little garden in our backyard, but wanted to keep it pretty low maintenance. A friend of the hubby's started a bunch of plants and gave us a TON of tomato plants. So it looks like this year we are doing a tomato garden! Since I knew this would mean salsa, I also bought a little pepper plant to put in a pot. Guess I better start finding some good recipes for tomatoes!

37 Weeks!

I'm term. Yep, you read that correctly. Although there are three weeks left till my due date I am now considered full term and the baby can "come at any time" as it says online. I'd have to say that at this point, I'm ready. I wouldn't mind having extra time but I'm definitely starting to feel the weight of the situation! The entries for my guess the babies sex and birth date contest have ended and I must share that there were 14 total entries with 3 girl guesses and 11 boy guesses. Most guessed that I would deliver early, although I think for some of the family members it was wishful thinking since they will all be in town next week! The first date is the 17th...this Saturday! Most guessed sometime in the last week of April.

The baby is roughly over 6lbs and 19" long, although I do go for an ultrasound on Monday for a better weight estimate than what they are giving online. This makes the baby about the length of swiss chard. If you were worried that we were out of the melon category, stay tuned, the watermelon is just around the corner.

How far along: 37 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Would you believe I forgot to ask at my last appointment?! She didn't bring it up either so I'm going to guess it was pretty more than another pound.

Stretch marks: I did a belly shot for you, sorry for the terrible picture quality. You can actually see my two little stretch marks in the 37 week shot...they are just slightly below the babies hair.

Sleep: I wish I could get some during the day.

Movement: Painful. For the most part the movement is very uncomfortable now. The baby is confirmed to be head down and has its feet located in my left rib cage. Sometimes I feel like I'm taking body shots in a ring...only from the inside. It can be brutal and I find myself "ouching" out loud many times a day.

Food cravings: No cravings. Hungry, but to be honest I can't eat alot at one time. I'm also a bit morning sick again. I'm hungry when I get up but after I eat I don't feel great. Luckily this doesn't last long.

Frustrations: Feeling like hell in the mornings. It's making getting ready for work a real challenge.

What I miss: Not feeling huge.

Weekly Wisdom: Nap whenever you can.

Milestones: Washing all the babies stuff and really being ready! Also did my maternity photos which I will share with you pretty soon.

Gobble Gobble

Each year at our office there is a gaggle (is that what you call them?) of turkeys wandering around. We have a bird preserve behind our building and so there is plenty for them to the cafe downstairs gives them food. Typically it is just a bunch of females but this year we have two fat plump males! This morning the two males were courting one of the females and showing her how big and long their tail feathers were. You can't see her in the picture because she was walking away...unimpressed!

Quite the artist!

This weekend I learned that my nephew Jason is quite the artist. He is crazy good in all his art classes at school and there was great artwork on display at his house. I also learned that he entered a drawing for a safety calendar contest and out of hundreds of applicants...he was picked as the winner and his art is now displayed on the month of August. How cute is that? Being a crafter, it's a motto I try to live by everyday. Nice work Jason!

With two showers under my belt it is official that there is no way to unwrap presents and not oooh and ahhh. Baby stuff is just down right adorable! I got some amazing amazing gifts, but I have to show you two that definitely got me oooh'ing! Seriously? Baby Vans! Even the hubby was excited about these when I got them home. How come baby shoes are just so stinking cute?

I also received this gorgeous handmade blanket from my friend Roseanne. It is perfect colors for the room and saves me from finishing my blanket. I have learned that knitting and pregnancy brain don't mix because counting is just plain hard. So, now I can use this blanket instead and knit mine up later. You know, when the pregnancy brain is gone and I have a baby and a whole lot of time on my hands.

It's a Shower!

Today was my second and final baby shower. My sister, sister in law and friend put on another shower for me filled with family and friends. I have to say that they all did a WONDERFUL job. The food was excellent, cake was beautiful and such great conversations with everybody. As I've mentioned on here before, my sister has started making diaper cakes and lucky for me I was the receiver of one! It's basically a three tiered cake made of diapers and loaded with other little baby goodies. Seriously stunning! If anyone is interested in ordering, let me know and I can pass her info onto you. I hope that when I have my 80th bday she makes me another one out of Depends!

36 Weeks!

One more week and I'm considered FULL TERM! I know I say this each post and sound like a broken record but how did it go so fast? There were times that it seemed like it would take forever and then suddenly it's almost over. The baby is roughly 6lbs this week, about the weight of a crenshaw melon and boy let me tell you it definitely feels like there is a large melon in there. I'll take a pic next week cause I'm pretty sure we're going to see a difference.

How far along: 36 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 11lbs, go to the doctor tomorrow so weight update next week.

Stretch marks: The same, but my belly button is slowly disappearing. Still not flat but if it gets much bigger it will be.

Sleep: Just depends on the night. Getting harder again, sore hips, sore wrists. Peeing every 2 hours on average.

Movement: Still lots of it, but have you ever gone on Youtube and searched "baby moving in belly." Oh heavens. It will either make you smile or make you run screaming from your computer. I'm actually happy to say that my baby doesn't move ANYTHING like some of these videos I have seen. It's amazing to watch but I can only imagine how uncomfortable some of that must be.

Food cravings: Eating is harder. Can't eat too much and if I do...ick. Just isn't the same amount of room in there anymore. Still like the same things though, no new cravings.

Frustrations: I'm going back to the wrists. They are getting terrible. I sleep in braces every night and my dexterity is getting really sloppy now. Hard time gripping things and my hand writing sucks. If you get a thank you card and it says nothing inside but a sloppy version of my signature you know why.

What I miss: Feeling motivated.

Weekly Wisdom: I'm gonna go totally cliche here and just go with take it a day at a time!

Milestones: Looks like I'm teaching water aerobics again this summer...and it starts in a week! Better make sure that maternity swim suit I have is going to be sufficient! I seriously can't wait to get in the water even if I look like a beached whale.

It's Bath Time!

I've had a strong desire as of late to submerge myself in water. The thought of getting into a swimming pool is almost orgasmic. I think it just is the desire to feel weightless, to not feel like I'm carrying around a heavy globe. Last night I thought I'd try to take a bath and see how that felt. Plus it seemed like perhaps a more comfortable way to shave my legs. Wanna know how it felt? Very much like this...I guess I should be honest is saying that I stopped fitting in standard tubs at about the age 13 when I reached my height of 5'10". I'm just too long. So if I want my legs covered then I'm out of the water from my belly button up, if I want my upper torso covered...well then there are my knees and legs sticking out of the water. Throw in a gigantic belly and the outcome is slightly hilarious. I filled the tub sitting up and once the tub was filled I was right at belly button level in water. Then I decided to slide in and lie back. Ha! The water displacement that occurred was a sight to be seen. Not only were my knees and legs sticking out, but also my globe belly and other globe items which we don't have to talk about here. I quickly realized that this was not going to work. When I sat up the amount of water that had gone down the overflow drain left me with water just barely covering my legs. Add to that the fact that you are only supposed to have the water at 100 degrees and the conclusion can be made that in movies, when you see pregnant women looking so adorable in the warm bathtub it can all be chalked up to GREAT ACTING!

B is for....

Man, I'm getting closer and closer to my due date and I don't think a day goes by that I don't wonder what I would do if the baby came today or tomorrow. It's hard at this point not to let it consume you, especially when there are feet in your ribs and butts pressed against your lungs. I realized that since we don't know what the gender is, I could have a little fun with you guys! So, why not a contest!!

There are two different categories that you have to vote upon for this contest. The first is, what do you think I'm having...a boy or a girl? The second part will be, when do you think I'm going to have the baby. The due date is May 6th. So, your entry should read something like... "A girl on April 29th." Obviously we won't know the winner until after I deliver, but it will give you something fun to wait for as well! The winner will be the person with the correct gender that is closest to the actual delivery date. The deadline to enter is Sunday, April 11th. If I happen to deliver before then (fingers crossed that does not happen) then only the entries submitted before my delivery will be counted.

Winner will receive a free two month Netflix membership!!!

Happy entering, can't wait to see what you come up with! Entries left on the blog or Facebook will be accepted.

In the past few weeks I have had some swelling of my feet and ankles. I have to say that I was so proud that I still had slim feet and didn't have cankles. I guess I have jinxed myself. Sometimes I get home and I can't believe they are my feet. If I wear shoes that cover them they try to escape out of any hole they can. This picture doesn't even do them can mostly just see it in my ankle here but I can assure you that I will only be able to wear shoe boxes soon.

Sometimes Craigslist is my friend and I must say that it has come through for me with this room. I figured the other day that I've spent only $200 on the new furniture in the room including the two dressers, the crib and the newest addition....a glider! I've looked at gliders on there for a while and either didn't like the color, didn't like the price or felt it was going to be too big. When I saw this one I thought it might just be perfect and it is! The green matches and it fits in the room. I couldn't ask for more!

35 Weeks

Hi, my name is Stacey. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I am tired! Yep, that pretty much summarizes my week in a nutshell, thank you for reading. The baby is now roughly 5 1/4lbs about that of a honeydew melon. I once had the nickname "Melon" and no it wasn't for what you think! It was for my GIANT forehead. Anyway, back to baby...

How far along: 35 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 11lbs, next update in a couple weeks.

Stretch marks: Same old, same old. My belly is furrier though, did I tell you that? Sexy huh?

Sleep: I sleep, but I'm tired alot more than I was a couple weeks ago. Last night though I woke up at 3am and have been awake ever since. If it wasn't for this rootbeer I would be asleep on my keyboard.

Movement: Lots of it. You can watch it move all over the place. Had a foot stuck in my rib cage last week, not fun. Hits something low too and that hurts whatever it is. I'm most certain we are head down at this point.

Food cravings: I like rootbeer, I like to eat. Heartburn sucks now. Worst case of it was brought on by red licorice. I seriously woke up dreaming that someone was burning my chest with a lighter.

Frustrations: Swollen feet. They are crazy. It actually makes the skin hurt like there is a bruise. They go down while I sleep and then puff up through the day and escape out of every shoe opening that they can. I'll be sure to post a pictures of those beauties soon.

What I miss: All the clothes that I can't wear right now.

Weekly Wisdom: Prune juice cocktail tastes like cranberry juice and still does the trick!

Milestones: I'd have to say there are a couple. Still the room, I love it. Scoring a good glider, pictures to come. Starting to watch the child birth class dvd with the hubby and attending a breastfeeding class.
