Rolled up deliciousness!


I went to my Sister's Mom's house for Easter and discovered a sinful item that I will now dream about. For those of you that know how good the "stupid dip" is and how it is gone in one second......this recipe is another that will be a HUGE hit. So go, right now, get your recipe books and write this down. It would be a sin not to make these for yourself.

1 loaf sliced white bread, crusts removed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cup melted butter

Flatten bread with a rolling pin.
Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, and powdered sugar.
Combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
Spread 1 T cheese mixture on each slice bread.
Roll up.
Dip in melted butter, then in cinnamon sugar.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350* for 20 minutes, or until golden.
Side note: You can also make these in advance and freeze them so you have them ready and available for your next party. Also, the picture does them NO justice!
* I had to add a side note here and let you know that my girlfriend Kim also found these delicious and totally nailed what they taste like. They are exactly like eating the center of the cinnamon roll! How awesome is that?!
